My entire career has been focused on growing startups. Growth and scaling is what I do.
I was a co-founder in my first startup. We bootstrapped the company to over 60 employees but, in the end, it didn’t survive the implosion of 2001. After that I made a decision never to found again. Just wasn’t cut out for it.
Since then, I’ve been a Sales, Marketing and Business Development executive in 5 startups funded by some of the best VCs in the valley: Sequoia, Accel, Mayfield. 2 of these companies got acquired and one (RingCentral) successfully IPO’d and continues to lead the revolution in business telecommunications. 2 others are too early to call but both are doing well.
I love to invest and advise early stage startups. My focus is on product development, design, partnership and channel strategy, GTM, monetization, team composition, culture etc. But more often than not, I simply serve as the sounding board to the founders - and love it!.
I work with Influitive, Truly Wireless, Heirloom Computing, MixRank, and RollApp. I also mentor early stage founders at TINC and 500.
I’ve also written articles for Forbes, TechCrunch, PEHub, VentureBeat. You can find most of them in this blog. You can also look at my Linkedin profile.
